      Abstract
      In January 2010, the Waikato Branch of the New Zealand Geographical Society hosted the Positioning Geography: Strategic Issues in Geographical Education Conference. The conference was held at the University of Waikato in Hamilton and offered plenary sessions, the presentation of themed papers, workshops, field trips and round table sessions.
