This is achieved by applying Geroch's transformation on a Kasner seed. The new solution contains two more parameters than the OT G₂ spike solution. Unlike the OT G₂ spike solution, the new solution always resolves its spike.application/pdfenThis is an author’s accepted version of an article published in the journal: Classical and Quantum Gravity. © 2015 IOP Publishing LtdScience & TechnologyPhysical SciencesAstronomy & AstrophysicsQuantum Science & TechnologyPhysics, MultidisciplinaryPhysics, Particles & FieldsPhysicsspike oscillationGeroch's transformationIwasawa frameEQUATIONSNon-orthogonally transitive G₂ spike solutionJournal Article10.1088/0264-9381/32/16/1620011361-6382
