Scaling of anisotropy in hydromagnetic turbulence

Abstract

We present evidence that anisotropy of low frequency plasma turbulence scales linearly with the ratio of fluctuating to total magnetic field strength for a useful range of parameters, for incompressible, weakly compressible, and driven magnetohydrodynamic turbulence.
