dc.description.abstractThis presentation is an overview of the results since 2015 of our research into active faulting within the Hamilton Basin. The presentation includes the results of: Ongoing reviews of existing data, particularly fromg ravity, seismic & drill surveys for oil, gas & coal; CHIRP seismic reflection survey & geological mapping along the Waikato River; Measurements from excavations for the Waikato Expressway that have exposed faults; Electrical resistivity surveys to locate sites for trenchin; and Coring of peat lakes with CT scanning of recovered cores.en_NZ
